Jellyroll Race Class

A jelly roll race quilt is made by sewing together 2.5-inch wide strips of fabric to create a colorful patchwork design. This process is much like making any regular patchwork quilt. The main difference is that using jelly rolls, which are pre-cut strips, saves you time because you don’t have to cut the fabric yourself. You can also make a jelly roll quilt from yardage by cutting your fabric into 2.5' x WOF strips of the fabric.

This fun and easy project is perfect for quilters of all skill levels!

Materials required:

Jellyroll of your choice or 42-2 1/2" x WOF cut strips
Sewing machine in good working order
Coordination Tread and bobbin
Scissors
Thread Snips
