Introduction to Sewing - Daytime

Sewing?is?a?skill?for?people?of?all?ages,?in?all?occupations,?and?from?all?walks?of?life.?From?making?small?repairs?to?making? complete?wardrobes,?beautiful quilts. Sewing is a fun, useful craft that you can be proud of doing. You?will?learn?about?the?basic?tools,?terms,?and?techniques?of?sewing.?You?will?then?develop?your?skills?by?completing?a?few?simple?projects.?? The Introduction to Sewing class consists of 6 - 2 hr classes over the span of 6 weeks. We have some sewing machines available in the classroom to be used during class time, however if you have a machine of you own you are more than welcome to bring that to class. The cost of the course cover the instructors time, you will be provided with a supply list on the first night, or you may purchase an pre-assembles kit from Thimbles & Thread Sewing Studio.
